Z Corporation offers the first handheld, self-orienting, 3D scanners. Neither bulky
mechanical arms nor tripods are required. Z scanners use reflective targets attached
to the subject being scanned to position iteslf. This allows the subject to be moved
during the scannning process.
Z scanners assure the highest possible accuracy by use of surface optimization algorithms.
The more an engineer scans a part, the more accurate the data acquisition becomes.
In addition, there are no limits to the size or color of parts scanned.
Zscan Software
The Zscan software produces .STL files ready for use by a 3D printer or import into
computer aided design software.
